Hi Faye and all, The split in the list came about when Rootsweb decided to make what they call "Cluster Lists". They took the varient spelling of all the original lists and made new lists for them. The, at least in my opinion, main list has always been the HODGES surname list. The HODGES list has about 250 subscribers and covers both spellings of the name.
