Suggest that you go to your library and check the City Directories of NY City and/or write to the NYC Library and request that the librarian or reference desk do it for you to see where Foster Hodges lived and his address. Also, write the Bureau of Vital Records, State Dept. of Health, Albany, NY 12208 and request a copy of his death certificate. I do not know what it costs there but I think it is $11 in Texas.
