Since the change in the list management comes when I have company visiting it will take me a few days to get into the full swing of things. If anyone needs attention, just yell. I hope that everyone remembers the Hodge ged come file: http://www.my-ged.com/hodge Check it out and share the info on your line if it is not there. My research has been mainly with HODGE. I know that many families have had Hodge and Hodges in the same line. With my direct line, this has not been the case and I have yet to find them with an "S" on the name. My line begins with John Hodge b. 1775 Sumter District, SC. His line to the present is in the ged com file. (Of course, there are still many side areas that need to be filled in.) Does anyone have a large Hodges file? Maybe you would consider putting it on the Internet like I have done with Hodge. It's a very simple task, and I like to think that all we discover is available to help everyone. I live in Savannah, Georgia. Baby-sit a 2 1/2 year old during the week and am very active in the DAR. I have two web pages, one for my DAR chapter http://www.geocities.com/heartland/village/5369 and one for myself http://www.geocities.com/heartland/village/9828 I hope you will visit them. You will know me pretty well after your visits. I hope everyone will re introduce themselves and their lines and share anything relating to the Hodge/Hodges surnames with the list. I think the list was run wonderfully in the past, and I do not plan to change a thing. As long as no one is rude, we are here to share, learn and enjoy ourselves. I hope a long the way many of us will become friends. This is your list. Enjoy. Your comments to me are always welcome. Please email any problems to me privately. Thanks Faye
