I know that Karl Moore wrote History of Johnson County Baptists (that's Johnson Co., TX) and his mother Sarah "Lula" Hodges had married Madison. M. ("Mac") Moore from MS who was a farmer, teacher and minister (I don't think he was formally trained). Also, try this address for MS info: Department of Archives & History PO.
