Hello Group- After reading your emails today and yesterday I have learned that whoever fills out the application for the deceased can put any info on the certificate that they want to. Silly of me, I thought the info would have to be verified. Now I am extremely discourage/paranoid. If what ya'll said is true, he might not have even been born in Alabama, considering he gave different birth dates, and would not give any family info. I questioned my grandmother as to when her father-n-laws birthday was, she said no one knew to celebrate his birthday. HELP! If he made up his name do you think his wife would make up her name also?
