Dad's father was Jesse hodge DOB 08/29/1886,Died 08/28/48 in Ohio. his father was Frank McDowell Hodge. Jesse O was born in Georgetown Ky, died 06/08/88 in Ohio . don't know about the rest. I hit the wall at this piont. Dad's relation jumps to the last name of Young. his great grand father was Frank Young. Not sure but frank had a daughter or a wife by the name of Catherine or Catharine. have found Frank and Rebeca young in 1850 census for Wake County NC that list a Catharine at 16yo.I was told that Frank's wife was full blood Cherokee indain but no luck finding anything. any help would be thankful. johntras@litchfieldil.com. > >

Sorry Diana, The Family Tree Page comes up with a message, "This page has been moved or deleted". This Isham Hodges is my direct line of ancestry. Isham was not born in Henry County as it had not been established at the time of his birth. It was most likely old Brunswich County which became Lunenburg County where Robert and Isham lived in 1748-1750 as we know where they were enumerated on the tax rolls in those years. Henry County came later and where Isham lived became Henry County. Isham did die in Henry County in 1782 and you can view his will on the TnSumner Page of Sumner County Tennessee. This part of Henry County later became part of Franklin County Virginia. We believe Robert Hodges b. Abt. 1700 to be his father but there is no hard documented proof at this time.
