Hello, I've been watching the message about John Hodges but none seem to fit mine. He married my Great-Aunt Patsy (or Mattie) Durham in the 1890's in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co.KY. They moved by covered wagon to Oklahoma around 1910. They stopped over for awhile in Calloway Co.KY. Family history said they moved to TX but the evidence says Oklahoma. John (Jack) was shot and left a paraplegic around middle age. Some of their children were Elizabeth Jean Hodge/Hodges who later moved to Tracy, CA where she died in the 1960's. She married a Warren and a Weatherford. There was a John Jr, Stanley Herbert, Joseph, Ada/Ida Pearl, Birdie, and Clyde. I think Clyde may have been a girl. One son was reportedly some kind of politician or official in Clovis, N.M. Any info at all would be much appreciated. This was my Grandpa's favorite sister but I don't know if he ever saw her again after the move west. Barb T
