This is TOO weird! My husband's half brother is named Carl Hodge. But none of these people ever lived anywhere except Alabama and Florida. Their father's name was Homer Rance Hodge, and he was born in 1919. His father was Ranson Caswell Hodge. I went back one more generation to Ranson's father, Aaron. His grandchildren would have been born around the timeframe you mentioned. Other than Ranson, I don't know the names of of Aaron's grandchildren; but here below is the info I have about the children of Aaron Hodge and and his wife, Delphia Arminda (Mindy) Kirkland: Ranson Caswell (Rance) Hodge b.
