my mom Edna Mae Hodge Had 9 bro & sis. all were bn in Illinois. Never in a orphanage. My grandfather William Hodge was bn in KY. He married Jennie Brewner in Illionis. William was marr to his first wife and had 4 children. Mother and 2 or 3 children died of fever. He took remaining children to Ill. After marring Jennie the remaining child or children died of the same thing. Williams father was John Hodge bn in KY. He married Minerva Siria. they Had William. John and Minerva Separated and divorced i guess. He then married Mary H. Young. John, Mary and marys 2nd husband are burried side by side in oakwood cemetery in earlington KY. she married David H.
