Hi, In addition to the work I'm doing on my cousin's Hodge family, I'm working on my own branch and thought I'd send out another query since it's been awhile. Does anyone have any info on John (Jack) Hodge who m. Martha S. (Patsy, Mattie) Durham in Hardin Co. KY in the 1880's. By 1910, they were heading West in a covered wagon. They must have stopped in Calloway Co.KY because they are listed on the 1910 Census there. They were heading out West to OK for the free or cheap land. Their KY family knew the wife as Patsy Hodge but the Western descendants call her Mattie Hodge. She and Jack had several children: John/Jack, Joseph, Herbert, Elizabeth Jean Weatherford-Warren, Pearl, and another girl. There was a Clyde, but I think that may be the child also called Herbert. Eliz. or Lizzie moved to Northern CA and died there in the 1960's, I think. A son moved to Clovis, N.M. I think he may have been some kind of politician or official there. There was reported to be Mohawk blood on the wife's side. Thanks for any help. Barb T
