Hi Sherma So far I haven't found anyone going to the States. I can go back as far as William H b 1771 who married Elizabeth Bryant in Tiverton, Devon, UK 20.3.1794. His father, I think , was Thomas H and Mayor of Tiverton in 1773..Later on two brothers (possibly twins) went to the States but died in UK. I don't know whether they married in the States or not. They were born in 1846 after the time you are looking at. So cannot help at this stage!
