Faye, You already know about my Miles Hodge - b. 1804 SC, married Frances Wheeler (b. 1814 in SC) on June 14, 1832 in Montgomery Co., AL. Was in the 1850 Census in Covington Co., AL (occupation - mechanic and farmer). He had several land patents in Covington and surrounding counties. Was in the 1860 and 1870 Holmes Co., FL Census. Since we last spoke, I found out from Joe Agosta that my Miles had another son after 1850 named Miles Manus Hodge who was a logger in Florida. Joe has promised to send me more info in a couple of weeks.
