It seems that you are discussing at least two separate Bartholomews. One was born in 1811 in Tn. and married #1 Sarah Corbin and # 2 Rebecca Renn. He had no daughter named Sarah although two of his Grand-daughters had that name. The other Bartholomew from Dobson, Surry Co., NC. was born about 1760 and married Elizabeth (unknown). His daughter, Sarah was born ca 1784 and married James Smith. I believe the one you are hunting is: HODGE, Sarah Ruth (F).................. M: 12 May 1864 Spouse: Joseph SHRUM St Francois, Missouri Another Bartholomew was born in 1845 in Surry but moved to In. where he married Elizabeth Jane Fulk on 4/11/1867 in Monroe Co., In.. Seems too young to be yours. Let me know if you have more on Bartholomew and I'll try to help. Names (including siblings), dates and places are very important for a search.
