It is here with their permission. Gay Nell Hodge Gay Nell Smith Hodge, 68, of 121 Kelsey Drive, Bristol, Tenn., died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, in Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Luther B. and Hettie Patrick Smith. She was a clerk, a homemaker and a member of the Valley Pike Presbyterian Church. Survivors include: husband, Jerry K. Hodge; two daughters and son-in-law, Donna Pentecost Wallace and Ronnie W. Wallace, Bristol, Tenn., and Angela G. Pentecost, Asheville, N.C., son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Stacey Pentecost of Bristol, Tenn.; two stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Kim Hodge Howe and Bill Hodge, Virginia Beach, Va., and Holly A. Hodge and Scott Hodge, Florida; stepson, Scott Hodge, Florida; sister, Janie Cullop, Bristol; three brothers, Chester Smith, Blountville, Grady "Red" Smith, Piney Flats, and Frank Smith, Bristol, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Goforth officiating. Burial will follow in Eastern Heights Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gregg Webb, Bill Lee, Elbert T. Pentecost Jr., Bruce Green, Bob Viers, George Leonard, Jeff Taylor and Ronnie Hodge. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Worley, Bobby Pentecost, Dr. Sue Prill, Friends of St. Anne's Charity Bingo and the staff of 2 West of Bristol Regional Medical Center.
