Her father, Arthur Hocking was born in Guilford, Vic, Australia 31st May 1877. His father was Christopher Bennet Hocking, born in Penzance, Cornwall, England. 17th September 1838. My husband says that his mother often took him to visit a Lena Bond (nee Hocking) who lived in Geelong, Vic, Australia, who was a second cousin but he doesnt know the full family connection.
