I too have Hockings that moved from Cornwall to Michigan. Actually from Camborne Cornwall to the Upper Penninsula. I have the Hockings back to 1777 with a couple of off branches I have run into along the way. My ancestors came over about 1850. I have and Edmund married to Mary Ann Rule(those are the ones who moved to the states) His father was also Edmund and his mother was Jane Thomas. If you know anything of these people let me know.
