I am having difficulty in finding out anything on my Grandfather James Henry HOCKING. He was born 9 January 1856 & registered at Praze Cornwall. James Henry sailed to New Zealand on the ship Douglas when he was 19 on the 2 July 1874. His parents were John HOCKING born 1816 & Hannah HEYME born 1821, who married on the 20th December 1838 in the Parish church Constantine. I can't find any other HEYMES as yet. Also I would dearly love to know were there any other siblings from this marriage. I have no conformation of Hannah or John's birthdate but believe this to be true from family.
