Apparently one was an organ builder and the other was a bookmaker. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Surnames: Hocking, Michels, Naylor, Pendor, Getchell Classification: Queries Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TSj.2ACIB/95.1.1.1.2.1.1 Message Board Post: I have info as to Lucinda's parents, although I haven't personally verified it and am uncertain of its reliability. I have James Michels, b. April 11, 1786, d. November 08, 1817, married May 08, 1806, Clinton, Kennebec County, Maine, to Sarah Getschell, b. abt 1790. She may be the same Sarah Getschell who, on August 23, 1819, in Edwards County, Illinois, married James' brother John Michels, b. May 24, 1796. Sarah may have been dead by January 31, 1833, because it appears that John remarried on that date to Isabella Naylor, b. June 06, 1811, d. July 17, 1895. For James' father I have George Michels, Sr., b. February 12, 1755, m. 1782 to Susanna ____ (George Sr. appears to have had another (later) wife named Susannah Holt, but she appears not to be the mother of his children). George may have been the son of James Michels, b. 1726 and Rebecca Pendor, b. 1728, married December 11, 1746, Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. I'd be very interested in knowing any errors in the above. I show William Allen Wyatt, b. February 11, 1862, Bone Gap, d. August 17, 1931, buried Clay County, Ill., married September 09, 1883 to Josephine Elizabeth Cook. Although I have also not personally verified this information, it comes from a source I consider reliable, who has much more info on this family. If you like, I'll put you in touch with her rather than merely repeating her data.
