Hello, I have no knowledge of any Benallack's in my Hocking family. -----Original Message----- From: Bret Busby Sent: Saturday, April 21, 2018 10:01 AM To: hocking@rootsweb.com Subject: [HOCKING] HOCKING/BENALLACK Hello. Does anyone have a Mary Hocking, marrying a Stephen Benallack, or another female Hocking, marrying a male Benallack? I have a Stephen Benallack/Benalack/Bennalack/Bennallack, marrying a Mary Hockey/Hockin/Hocking/Hoctin/Hawke, in 1786, in Ladock. The family name spellings vary with each different record, including each different record in the parish register, and each different record in the online IGI. There is also another BENALLACK researcher with whom I have been in contact, who has a John BENALLACK marrying an Ann HOCKING in 1780 in Probus. Any information about either marriage, and the associated Hocking (?) family/familes, would be appreciated. Thank you in anticipation. -- Bret Busby Armadale West Australia ............. I am trying to trace the death of William J H Hocking who was born in 1869 in St Just, Cornwall. For many between 1893 and 1923 he worked as a miner, mostly in the Kimberley diamond mines, South Africa but also Rhodesia. I have been unable to trace his death which may have been in Africa or in his home town of St Just, where his family lived in Bosorne Terrace / Road. Can anyone advise, please?
Anne married John Trengove may 4 1795 at St Gluvias,Cornwall looking for extended family
Rootsweb is changing the operation of its mailing lists. You should probably have already received a message from Rootsweb, advising that the lists are to be changed. When this list has been changed, you should get a Welcome message, advising that you have been subscribed to the new version of the list. That should not mean that you have been subscribed to an extra mailing list, only that your subscription to the list to which you are now subscribed, has been transferred to the new version of the list. When you receive that Welcome message, please read it and keep it. Amongst other information, it will have the new email address to which messages are to be addressed, for posting to the mailing list. For any questions, or problems, please ask the Rootsweb helpdesk, by using the form at http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/form1.html I understand that I will have to go through all of the list settings, after the list has been changed, so a period of time, may occur, during which the list operates differently, due to the list settings having been erased. -- Bret Busby List Administrator Armadale West Australia ..............
