    3. Need explanation for Nimrod Hitt as voter in Pr William Co VA in 1741, so was born by 1720. The name Nimrod Hitt is passed down in other known HITT lines, and Joseph Hitt was also in Pr William Co VA in 1752 with the same Holtzclaw family. Was this Nimrod Hitt a son of Peter Hitt of Fauquier Co VA, 1716? Also note John Roberts on the list of voters, and I have a Rachal Hyte Roberts deceased 1799 in Halifax-Mecklenburg VA who says she was the daughter of Joseph Hyte, and widow of John Roberts. This is the exact area along the Hyco-Dan River where Henry Hitt & Peter Hitt lived 1760-1784. The Poll for the Election of Burgesses for the County of Prince William, A.D. 1741. "This register includes the names of persons who, in the election of Burgesses, in 1741, polled 828 votes for the candidates indicated. In other words, it extended along the Potomac to the Blue Ridge." One candidate was Val. Peyton. Voters include{1741}: Darby Callahan, John Carr, Jno. Carr, C. W. Carr, Geo.
