From: Benjamine Hitt and Nancy Curnal Hitt- Their Antecedents and Descendants the following: Page 37 Harmon Hitt (1721 1820) and Mary Weaver Harmon was born in 1721 in Germantown, Va. He died in 1820 near Warrington, Va., at age 99. He married Mary Weaver, daugher of Tillman Weaver, of the 1714 group. Harmon purchased 200 acres on Goose Creek in Prince William County, Va. on 10-12-1779. He and Mary were the parents of twelve children. John m. Sarah Day Pace; Elizabeth m. Jacob Rector. Had a daughter, Mary Ann m. George Miller; Moses; Joseph, Jesse, Mary Ann b. 4-9-1759 m. Charles Ayers 4-9-1778 (their children; Mary, Elizabeth, Nancy, Margaret, Charles Wesley); Sarah Sally, Martin m. Margaret Smith; Benjamine m. Jane Smith; Daniel, Samuel m. Ann (Nancy) Smith; Peter m. Charlotte _________. DEED BOOK; 13, p. 432 Fauquier County, Va. Harman Hitt appoints Benjamine Hitt and Samuel Hitt his attorneys to divide his property among his children, namely, John Hitt, Elizabeth Rector, Peter Hitt or his heirs, Jesse Hitt, Mary Ayers, Sally Hitt, Martin Hitt, Benjamine Hitt, Daniel Hitt, and Samuel Hitt.
