I have proof of my husband's Hitt family back to and including John Hitt born about 1759 VA died 1839 Cape Girardeau MO 1839. He married Frances (Frankie) Banks who was born 1763 VA and died 1852 in Cape Girardeau MO. I have been told he was a son of Henry Hitt and Alice Katherine Holtzclaw. I am fairly new to Hitt research and wonder if anyone has more info on this family? Thanks. Ellen
