Hello Judith, Greensboro, MS is in Choctaw County. James Hitt b. 1810 and father to Priscilla Alice Hitt b. 1838, was the Sheriff in 1852. Priscilla married David Lewellyn Malone in 1856. The daughter, Martha Florence Malone b. 1857 was born in Greensboro lived in Sewanee, TN (where I live) and moved to Ft. Worth, TX with her husband, John Fontaine Waller, in 1879. I hope this helps.
