I do not know this family, but I would be interested if someone did find them to ask where they got the name Leonidas. I am a Rector from Rector/Hitt descent and there are two past Rector family members named Leonidas and I have not seen this name elsewhere. Warren Rector (son of James ,1754 - James being the son of Jacob & Mary Hitt Rector) had a son Leonidas and Warren's son Jesse B. Rector 1830 had a son also named Leonidas.
