Earl, Thank you for your wonderful information regarding Catherine James Holtzclaw. I do have the Holtzclaw Genealogy by B.C. Holtzclaw, but it, of course, gives no infomation about her background. I am new to genealogy, but I just thought that Sarah and Catherine might possibly be sisters since the time frame was so close. It would be wonderful to tie her to Captain John James, but with your information it seems unlikely. She may remain a mystery unfortunately. Again thank you so much, Sharon Earl J.
