Thanks to Rhita Reynolds I have a much better idea of where I fit into the Hitt saga -- a better idea, but still incomplete. I am including the descendents of James Allen Hitt's son George R. Hitt (mother was Elender Duncan. As for Rhita, this Hitt line is the most intractable I have, so any information that could help her tracing James Allen Hitt's line back would be of great help to me as well. Also, if anyone has a clue about the wife of this George R. Hitt (and be careful for there are many with that name) please tell me cause I am desparate. I think her name was Alace A.
