Cassie, Hi ! You do get around <g> Looks like we have more in common than just the Pruetts and Cargills in Coryell. (If you remember, I'm tracking down the Beatys who married Pruetts in that area...) Like Pauline, I'm tracing my wife's Kemper ancestors who are related to the Hitts. We have data on the Hitts, from the John Hitt and Frances Banks family, back 5 generations to Balthasar Heite, b. 1596 in Nassau-Siegen, Germany. And, the Alice Katherine Holtzclaw's family, back 3 generations to Johann Holtzclaw. Also the Otterbachs (Alice Katherine's mother's line). To all, I'd love to have the additional information you have on the descendants of John Hitt and Frances, as my data stops with them, didn't have their children's names until these posts.
