Hello Earl, I can not speak for others on the list but I had been warned about the errors. Chan Edmondson told me quite some time ago about the errors of the Hitte and Holtzclaw Families works which were done earlier. I know that they are in error and I will not use them. I will go back a little way in Virginia and that is all. I do not know what those errors were, I just know that there was a lot of mis information printed on these two families. For me, last night was the first time I have used the Hitt List. I have not researched the Hitt family. I will visit your site and learn what those errors were. I was told that there were a couple of Hitt family gurus on the List and that sometimes would step in and correct the errors. Glad to meet you. Gail Davis did research on these early families but I now realize that she used previous researched material and probably copied the errors also. Thanks, from me at least. I sure want to read your Hitt Missouri when you send it. Cassie in Texas -----Original Message----- From: Earl J.
