Interesting, Here we go again. I would be very interested in ANY PROOF that Peter Hitt, 1714 immigrant to Germanna, is related to the Heite/Heide family that Balthasar Heite is said to be the progenitor. The only reference to this is B.C. Holtsclaw book, Germanna Record No. 5, in which even he says that the relationship is only probable, no proof.
