    3. To Earl Hitt I went back and re read your message and found the information on Frankey Banks Hitt. The source for her birth and death date came from the church book. Where did the information on her parents come from? I still could not find a sourse for the birth date of her husband John Hitt. Is it in the church book also? It is probably as plain as the nose on my face, but I don't find it. Cassie -----Original Message----- From: Earl J. 3. Janelle, I am a descendant of Nancy "Ann" Hitt's brother, Peter Hitt III, b. 1 Apr 1776, d. abt. 1806/7, m. 23 Aug 1796 to Lucinda O. Rosser, and I'm beginning to think that I'm the only one of his descendants doing genealogy. As to the Hitt/Heite controversy, I think that the weight of the evidence suggests that Peter Hitt was NOT Peter Heite, but the evidence is not conclusive one way or the other, so I'm keeping the Heite data in my database until something better comes along. 3. Does anyone know anything about Sarah James who married Peter Hitt, Jr.? I am trying to learn if she might have been a sister to Catherine James who married Joseph Holtzclaw. The two couples married within a few years of one another in the same county. Catherine is my 5 g grandmother, and I have been unable to find any information about her. Thank you for any help or information. Sharon Lloyd

Everyone seems to have the same dates on John and Frankey Hitt. Birth date, Marriage date and death dates for each. There must be a source somewhere. WHERE and WAHT? Where did this information come from? Cassie
