Eschenfeldt, 74, of Sherman died Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at Villa Health Care East in Sherman. He was born Oct. 14, 1930, in Springfield, the son of Herman and Esther Brockman Eschenfeldt. He married Kathryn Hinds in 1953 in Athens. Mr. Eschenfeldt graduated from American Academy of Arts in Chicago. He worked at Squires Advertising Agency for 42 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was involved with Camp Cilca. Survivors: wife, Kathryn; two sons, Timothy Eschenfeldt of Loveland, Colo., and Fredrick Eschenfeldt of Andrew; two daughters, Julia Eschenfeldt of Palatine and Stephanie Wyffels of Palmer Lake, Colo.; seven grandchildren; sister, Ruth (husband, Michael) Lucas of Versailles; brother, Eugene (wife, Kathleen) Eschenfeldt of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
