"Walter Freeman Hinds, 88, of 61 W. Warnet st. Ventura, died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness. Mr Hinds born Aug. 11, 1882, in Alabama had lived in Ventura since 1943. He was last employed at Ventura General Hospital and was a member of Primitive Baptist Church of Santa Paula. He is survived by his wife, Dovie: sons, Claud and William, both of Texas, James L. and Billy Jack, both of Ventura; daughters, Mrs. Louise Clifton of Bentura, Mrs. Marguerite Hooker of Pine Bluff, Ark.; brother herbert and a sister, Mrs Lilu belle Browning both of Tyler, Tes/; 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
