The Veteran's Administration has now gone on line with a list of grave sites in the US for veterans. I found 223 graves for men and women named Hinds on this list. Unfortunately, it does not include overseas cemeteries so my father's grave is not listed. See http://www.cem.va.gov/ Barbara

Barbara, what was your father's name? I will keep my eye out for him. Btw, I found a memorial in Hawaii for my long lost brother who was lost at sea (Pacific Ocean).
