    3. The author is probably William Green Dudley Hinds, son of John Iradelle Hinds and Rhoda Webb. The periodical is in Clayton but I cannot promise to go there anytime soon. They will copy and send the article to you if you so request. Barbara

Hinds, son of Rhoda Webb and John Hinds (grandson of Simon Hinds and Elizabeth Stone) Born 5 Feb 1845 Guilford County, Tenn. according to History of Benton, Washing, Carroll, Madison, Crawford Franklin and Sebastian Counties, Arkansas Goodspeed Publishing, 1889 In the 1870 census Marrs Hill, Washington County, Arkansas He's not my direct line so I no documentation on him.
