Soontay" <[email protected]> Clif, I may have a connection to your Joab Hines. My 4G grandfather lived in Fairfield Co. S.C. until he died in 1820. His children were Joab, Elizabeth (married a Godbold), Esther (married a Davis), James, Joseph, Loyd, Finnetta (married a Moore), and Thomas Jefferson. These names are from the probate. Some of the children went to Tenn. and La. I think all were gone by 1830 census. Inetta
