    3. Hi: I visited USGenWeb Archives at NC - with keyword Quaker and found this entry. I was not looking for Hinds. Their are quite a few Hardins in this same list & myJohn Hinds ended up serving as Sheriff Hardins's aide in the Lawrence Co. AR militia in 1816 &1817. I believe John HInds was a Capt. under Col. Hardin. or a Lieut. under Capt. Hardin. John's appointment was signed by an officer in Little Rock. I've put the url down if anyone wants to look at the rest of the list. It looks like Paul Anthony is now recording the land that had once been John HInes land and improved by John Hines. Or it could have been rented by John Hines and improved by him. Anyone know which John Hinds this is in 1778 & 1779?
