    1. Private & Sgt. Joseph Hains of PA Loyalist in Rev War
    2. Nan & George Wolf
    3. Just obtained the book "Loyalists in the Southern Campaign of the Revolutionary War" by Murtie Jane Clark pub., by the Genealogical Publishing Co. 1981, Baltimore. Keep in mind that 1/3 of the colonists were Patriots, 1/3 Loyalists and the other third were "whichever way the wind was blowing." There is also the fact that the English conscripted (drafted) colonists whenever they felt the need. From the locations where this company shows up in the book - one can see that the English were fighting the Spaniards in Florida as well as the American colonists to the north. I know where Pensacola is but have no idea where Newtown, Yellow Hook and Guana are located. And, since this group was from PA - the location of: Banks of Skulkyll is probably where they were mustered in. NOTE: Joseph Hains (could be a Hinds or Hines) was killed 8 May 1880 fighting the Spanianards. - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Page 133: Muster Roll of Captain Joseph Swift's Company of the First Battalion, Pennsylvania Loyalists, Commanded by Lieut Colonel William Allen, April 24, 1779.
