Hi: I found this 1999 query using a search at the message boards at Ancestry.com. It was posted on a Washington Co., Indiana message board. Note that these Hinds were Quakers. Mary married Joseph M. Russell of Missouri and moved to Stroud, Okla. where she lived the rest of her life dying in 1955. These Hinds were Quakers. Mary Elizabeth (Hinds) and Joseph M. My father was born in Salem, Indiana in 1920. His father, Freeman Hinds, was from Ripley County, Indiana. We are not related to the Hinds mentioned here.
