My Joseph was supposed to have been born about 1705 in England but I only have evidence of him in New Jersey, USA. Other evidence suggests that Joseph was Scottish but that his wife, Ruth, was English. Her last name is unknown. Both Joseph and Ruth may have been Quakers. Please post anything that you know about the ancestry of your Joseph.
