    3. Hi: This was a private message. She gave me permission to put it on the list. She is not the Hinds researcher but she is doing this for a cousin who has a Hinds connection. I have posted both of her messages below my signature. In the opinion of another Hinds researcher that rec'd this message: "Elizabeth is the daughter of Joseph Hinds, born about 1765 in Morris County, NJ, and Elizabeth Sharp, born about 1768, daughter of Matthias and Elizabeth Sharp. Joseph's will is dated 10 Jun 1820. Joseph was the son of Levi Hinds and Sarah _____." What think you? If you reply to Victoria- make a cc: to this list. Are we off in the wrong direction? Regards, Nan [email protected] --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------- Original query message: Subject: elizabeth hinds? Date: Sun, 17 Sep 2000 11:27:55 -0400 From: "SKYROOT" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> I am in search of the ancestors of Elizabeth Hinds, who married John S. Ray/Wray in Wayne CO KY in 1828. Their daughter Malinda G. (b. 1830) is an ancestor of some of my cousins. ------------ Her second message: "Actually, it's not me but my cousins (via the Neilsons) who have Hinds roots (from Elizabeth Hinds through Malinda G. Wray/Ray b. 1830-d.1858, Alice Castillo 1855-1948 (m. George Monroe Nelson) and on down in both Nodaway CO MO (Amanda Nelson m. Frank Bowman) and departees (Sallie Nelson m. Omar Babcock) to OR/WA. Yes, you can post the info to the Hinds-L list. I'm sure there's other "collateral completests" out there who would appreciate the information. More is available on the various descendants of Malinda G. for those who are interested. Victoria "
