Hi: If you go to the USGenWeb state archives search engine at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ussearch.htm and click on the state of VA plus type in the keywords "Hinds deeds" (ignore the parentheses) you'll get to the Scotch Irish Settlements book with many hits for Hinds. William, John, Thomas and Edward were the ones I spotted before going elsewhere. Since they are from a copyrighted book - I didn't copy and paste them to the list. But, if you have HInds in early VA which later became WV and KY - you might want to take a look. The Edward Hinds entry was dated 1765. Regards, Nan [email protected]
