Condolences are extended to the family for their loss. HINDS -- Frederick Norman, passed away on October 18, 1996 at Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminister, B.C. at the age of 75. He will be remembered by his wife of 51 years, Cathie; children, Carol (Karl) ROHOMAN of Brampton, Ontario, Gordon (Terry) of Shawnigan Lake, B.C., Lynn (Gerry) FLOWERS of Richmond, B.C. and grandchildren, Jeff, Regan, Cory, Ryan and Geoff. Born on April 2nd, 1921 in Toronto, Fred was a long time resident of Toronto where he worked 49 years for Westinghouse Company Ltd. He and Cathie of Edinburgh, Scotland, met and married during WW2 while Fred was serving overseas with the 3rd Division, Royal Canadian Ordinance Corps. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the caring and dedicated staff of George Derby Centre where Fred spent his last 5 years. Donations may be made in Fred's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation. END
