The Darter name was changed to Daughters in the early 1800's by the children of Hudson Darters in Delaware. This family became intertwined with the McKittrick Family in the 1800's in America when Flora Daughters married David Henry McKittrick in Indiana. He was married to Margaret HUDSON (daughter ofWilliam HUDSON and Mary (_____)) in 1705 in Accomack Co., VA. Margaret HUDSON was born in 1688 in London, England. Margaret and Mary, twins, christened 16 Apr 1688 at St. Michael le bon, London. William DARTER and Margaret HUDSON had the following children: 7 i. Michael DARTER was born in VA. 8 ii.
