I anyone is looking for the Joseph D. and Sally A. who were the children of: ARCHIBALD2 HINDS (JOSEPH1, LEVIA, JOSEPHB, JAMESC) was born 12 March 1794 in Knox (Hawkins) County, Tennessee (Source: "Hinds of Kentucky and Tennessee" by Dr. David Trimble). He married MARTHA COWAN. She was born 1808 in Kentucky. This may be him. There is so much difference in birthdates (1827 -1833) I doubt he's mine. It is possible. If he is mine, his wife had died or they were divorced. 1880 HINDS JOSEPH D. Gilpin County CO 021 Central City age 56, living with two males, Cochran and Meager(?), all miners, b. KY, parents b. VA. Joseph D. Hinds filed a mining claim in Boulder Co., Colorado in 1873. In 1890 he filed one in Garfield County. Highland Cemetery, New Castle, Garfield County, Colorado HINDS, Joseph D.
