    3. I happened to be in Rome, GA this weekend. While I was not there for genealogy research, I couldn't resist going through beautiful Myrtle Hill Cemetery, est. 1857, built on a steep terraced hillside and full of wonderful old monuments. I found this listing for the Confederate dead who died in Rome during the battle there. These are the known HILLs.
