I started out over 30 years ago, knowing that my Gr Gr Grandfather was Perry Hill. All research pointed to Jonas Hill as his father, based on correlations of names, dates and places. However, I never found one shread of evidence to prove it. Fortunately, I had corresponded with various descendants of Jonas Hill for many years. When DNA testing emerged this past summer as a possibility, we decided to give it a try. As a result, my DNA matched two descendants of Jonas Hill...scientifically proving that the three of us had a common ancestor within the past seven generations.
