We are interested in who Andrew Jackson Hill's father and mother were. We think that they might be the son of either Andrew Hill or Solomon Hill who were the sons of Col. William Hill. Floy McNaughton has done much of the geneology of Nancy Jane Hay and her family back to the American Revolution. But my ggrandfather was Andrew Jackson Hill's son who probably was born in Liberty County because Bogardus C. (B.C. Hill) was born in 1856, and your posting said that Andrew Jackson Hill moved to Liberty Co., Texas in 1854. I have written to the Liberty County hoping that maybe there might be a delayed birth record. My family lived in Waco, Texas, and we were very close to Hattie Hill Eichelberger and her daughter and son-in-law, Hattie Mae Eichelberger Harrison and Guy B. Harrison, and their daughter Nancy Harrison Guy. My Grandmother was Lottie Hill Mooney and my father was Charles Hill Mooney. Do you have any family Bible records?
