Mel, I am sorry, but I don't see any name or place that I know. The only thing I know so far about my Hill surname is that all I have found happened in eastern NC. I wish I could see something that I could use. I think, if L. Burton Hill was native American, he gave up his rights to native American heritage when he changed his name. I have not been able to find his name on any of the Indian rolls. Maybe in time, something will turn up. Good luck in your search! Iris
