Hello again to all the Hills! I am still looking for the parents of my ggggrandfather Johnson S. Hill who turns up in the 1810 Federal Census and subsequent censuses. He was born in 1784.He died July 7 1868, and is buried in Black Creek Cemetary in Essex county, NY. Here is another puzzeler! In the 1850 Federal census he evidently told the recorder his birthplace was "NH", and in the 1855 NY state Census he told them his place of birth was "CT" and in the 1860 Federal Census he told them is place of Birth was "NC". Without a death certificate, how does one know where to search and who to search for? Brickwall. Appreciate any suggestions Wesley E. Hill
