My great grandmother was Missouri Louisa Hill (who married John "Jake" Edward Pope in Cherokee County, GA). Missouri's parents were Green Berry (or Greenberry) Hill and Liza/Elizabeth or Sara Millsaps. I believe that Jeremiah R. Hill and Rutha Payne Hill may be the parents of my g.g. grandfather. I found info. on the FamilySearch site on Jeremiah Hill and Rutha Payne Hill and it listed a Greenberry Hill as a son. I also found my Green Berry Hill living in Cherokee County, Georgia in the 1860 census with one house between him and Jeremiah Hill and Ruth Hill and an Elizabeth Payne (age 98 and prob. Rutha's mother) living with them. Have found a few possible links, but thought I'd try this list. Anyone familiar with any of this? What I do know...
